Please take a moment to review the following terms and conditions, which govern your use of our website and services. Once you access or use our site, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our site and services.

1. Use of Our Website

Our website is here to provide you with information about our delicious, custom sweets and to allow you to place orders easily and securely. You agree to use the site in a responsible manner, ensuring that you don’t engage in any illegal or harmful activity that could compromise the integrity of our services. We reserve the right to limit or terminate your access if we detect any suspicious or prohibited activity. 

2. Ordering and Payment

When you place an order with Sentimental Sweets, you’re committing to purchasing our products. Please ensure that all information you provide is accurate and complete, as any inaccuracies may lead to delays or issues with processing your order. We accept a variety of payment methods, and all transactions are secure. Full payment is required at the time of purchase. 

Please note that once an order has been placed and confirmed, it cannot be canceled or modified unless otherwise stated. If you encounter any issues with your order, please contact us immediately.

3. Returns and Refunds

Digital products:
 

Every effort has been made to ensure you receive high-quality educational content and a positive learning experience. Due to variables in baking (i.e. equipment used, skill and /or experience of the baker), there is no guarantee that you will be successful 100% of the time with your baking efforts. Vintage baking comes with its own unique set of challenges. For this reason, if you are unsatisfied or unsuccessful in your attempts to restore a vintage recipe, you may request a full refund within 45 days of purchase OR request a personal consultation with Valerie to address any concerns or difficulties with a specific recipe. To request a refund or a personal consultation, please contact me at valerie@www.sentimentalsweetsbyval.com. If requesting a personal session, please include a copy of the recipe you are attempting to restore. Please be advised that if you elect the option of a personal consultation, no refund or other compensation will be provided. 

Refunds for live courses:

In the unlikely event that a live course is cancelled, all students enrolled may elect to receive either a refund or a full credit towards a future class.

Refund requests will be processed within 7-10 business days of approval.

Returns or refunds of physical products:

At this time, Sentimental Sweets by Val does not directly handle sales of hardcover books. Please contact the retailer that you purchased your book from for a refund or a return.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including product images, descriptions, logos, and designs, are the intellectual property of Sentimental Sweets. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of this content without our express written consent. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited.
